Parkland Pregnancy Support Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting low-income families with babies and young children. We provide essential resources, information, and compassionate support to help caregivers nurture their children with confidence and build a healthy and hopeful future for their families.
Position Overview
We are looking for dependable and compassionate volunteers to help support the daily operations of our centre. This roles focus on creating a welcoming and organized environment for the families we serve. Volunteers will assist with client-facing tasks and help keep the centre running smoothly.
This role may grow into administrative responsibilities over time as volunteers become familiar with our programs and operations.
Responsibilities may include:

Welcoming and assisting clients when they visit the centre

Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space

Sorting and organizing donations and supplies

Restocking baby items and client resources
-
Assisting staff with client support tasks

Supporting general organization and centre operations
-
Potential to assist with administrative tasks and data entry in the future
Skills and Qualities We Are Looking For:

Friendly and compassionate customer service skills

Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Reliable and able to work independently

Comfortable interacting with clients in a supportive environment

Interest in supporting families and young children

Administrative or data entry experience is an asset but not required

Commitment
Volunteers are asked to commit to approximately 3 hours per week, with additional hours available if desired.
